Prof.V.T.Srinivasan was born in the year 1912.He along with Sri.K.Srinivasa Rao & Sri. K.Lakshminarayana Rao started The Bangalore High School , which was well known for its quality education. Later , they started The Vijaya college at Jayanager, And Prof. V.T.Srinivasan was Principal of the College from 1951-1972. He was a professor in English and Mathematics.His method of teaching Shakespeare's Dramas had won the acclaim of student community that even students from other colleges thronged the lectute hall in Vijaya College.Dr.Sir C.V.Raman, the nobel prize winner had acclaimed that English and Mathematics was a rare combination and only Prof.Srinivasan had possessed it.
His daughter Prof.VT.Bhuvaneswari, , Joined the Physics department in the same college, and later worked as Head of the Department.
It is unfortunate that the creators of the present website of Vijaya College, have chosen not to give due place and credit to Prof.V.T.Srinivasan  and Prof.VT.Bhuvaneswari, in the website, which tantamounts to distortion of history and burial of truth. It is sad that it is happening in an educational institution.
Incidentally, Prof.G.Venkatasubbiah's contribution to the college had been black listed, but the distortion was made good only recently. !!!!
